📚 Week 5 of adventures in reading … read great books when spending time with inspiring people and friends.

The Let Them Theory book with the cards I was preparing to send and to give to people

I read The Let Them Theory it while waiting for my kids on a Saturday in Starbucks while I wrote cards to people, on my way, during (not sessions, of course) of WACUBO’s Women’s Leadership Forum. I talked to our Lyft driver about the book (thanks Callie Juarez & Megan Glide Villasenor for entertaining my book talk), stopped at the local Barnes & Noble - recommended the book & finished it on the plane home.

The book was well timed, easy to read and made me laugh and feel ownership at the same time. As you can see above, I was enjoying it enough during reading to strike up conversations about it.

⁉️ What change would you make if you weren’t worried about being judged?

💡 You are so much stronger than anyone’s opinions of you.

❗️Emotional maturity isn’t something you’re born with or that just happens. It’s a skill that takes time, practice, and a desire to learn.

⭐️ Never let someone else’s emotional reactions keep you from making the hard decision.

💯 Your actions are the loudest and truest form of communication.

I’m definitely in pondering mode on The ABC (DE) Loop. Love a book that gets me thinking.

And my kids are very excited I’m adding a green book to my color organized bookshelf too 😂
